Behind the work

Visual Identity.Branding.

Observation → exploration → choice

The way we make things matters.

Intention is the foundation of my practice. It shapes how I think, what I notice, the tools I choose, and the work I put into the world.

I care about how an idea becomes something you can see, touch, and use. Research, experimentation, and craft shape the way I work. Intention connects them.

Room to discover

I give myself room to observe, question, play, and reconsider. Discovery can be accidental; what I choose to carry forward deserves consideration.

My philosophy

Work that carries the attention I gave it.

Every element deserves a reason to be there. A color, a texture, a word, an interaction. Sometimes that reason is practical. Sometimes it is emotional or intuitive. I care about what each choice contributes.

My practice moves between collecting, sketching, testing, building, and refining. Material, texture, and small irregularities connect an idea to the act of making it.

Technology belongs in my process. I use tools that expand what I can do, and I stay involved in the decisions that make the work mine. As those tools become more powerful, I remain responsible for the result.

We knew what made our coffee special, but our identity was telling a different story. MDF asked the right questions and gave us a visual language that feels as welcoming as our space.
